Book Publishing Package Terms and Conditions

The total price for the book publishing package is R5,000. A deposit of R500 is required to begin the process. Once payment has been made and the required details have been submitted, you will receive an email containing a formal service agreement for signing. The package includes manuscript editing, proofreading, book cover design, interior formatting, barcode creation, book registration assistance, and 10 printed copies of the book with delivery. Work will commence once the deposit has been received, the agreement has been signed, and all required materials have been submitted. The remaining balance of R4,500 must be paid according to the payment schedule agreed upon in the signed service agreement.

Our business provides publishing administration and production services and does not acquire ownership of the author’s manuscript. All copyright, intellectual property rights, ownership, and royalties remain with the author unless otherwise agreed in a separate written agreement. The author is responsible for ensuring that the manuscript and submitted content are accurate and that they have the necessary rights and permissions to use the material. The package includes only the services listed above; additional services or substantial changes outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges, which will be communicated for approval before proceeding. The project timeline depends on the timely submission of materials, payments, and approvals by the author.

Printing and delivery arrangements will be confirmed with the client. Book sales, bestseller status, and acceptance by third-party publishing or distribution platforms are not guaranteed. Cancellation and refund requests will be handled in accordance with the signed service agreement and applicable South African law. By placing an order and signing the agreement, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions.
